RESPERION ANNOUNCES PRODUCT LAUNCH OF ALL-NATURAL PAVING SOLUTIONS

IntegraPave and EcoRAP Enable the Construction of Rigid Surfaces to meet all of Today’s Green Building Infrastructure Needs

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, July 19, 2010 Âľ Resperion, a global pioneer in the creation and development of innovative technologies and solutions for the road construction industry, today announced the availability of IntagraPave and EcoRap, both 100% natural additives for the construction of roadways, parking lots, pathways, or any other area where a rigid surface may be needed.

Both of these products fit into Resperion’s push to a truly green infrastructure. Resperion’s IntegraSeal, IntegraPave and EcoRap products are all 100% natural and the IntegraBase product is the only asphalt modifier that can reduce emissions, reduce the amount of virgin aggregate used, and reduce vehicle fuel consumption and emissions.

IntegraPave is a 100% GREEN surfacing solution that saves money and application time over asphalt and concrete. Scientifically engineered, IntegraPave is mixed with aggregate mixtures to provide a rigid surface with remarkable properties. IntegraPave replaces toxic petroleum-based emulsions, providing an organic surface and sealant that preserves strength and load-bearing qualities. IntegraPave can save up to 50% over the cost of concrete or asphalt while providing for a long-lasting solution with similar characteristics to asphalt or concrete.

EcoRAP provides for an incredibly hard, dense and drivable surface that takes advantage of RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement.) EcoRAP is a 100% organic emulsion which enables the replacement of bitumen-based hot mix applications. EcoRAP makes one of the most widely used paving materials on the planet GREEN. The finished surface of an EcoRAP paved road has a higher compressive strength than a comparable asphalt emulsion mix, for a cost-effective solution that is GREEN. EcoRAP is a revolutionary product that binds aggregate fines of recycled asphalt to produce a strong, long-lasting, environmentally friendly driving surface.

“We are seeing a global trend towards building a greener infrastructure and are excited to be offering new solutions that cost-effectively enable the construction of environmentally safe surfaces and roads.” Said Resperion CEO Josh Benveniste. “As the benefits and cost-savings of begin to be realized on a bigger scale, we believe IntegraPave and EcoRAP will pave the way for rapid adaptation at all levels of road-building”

Environmentally Friendly
As worldwide trends are continuing towards strict health and environmental regulations, IntegraPave and EcoRAP provide a green solution to reduce many environmental and health concerns. IntegraPave and EcoRAP are comprised of 100% organic products – making it biodegradable, non-corrosive, and safe for all living organisms and the environment. No air pollution or fossil fuel burning is required to heat the products during their manufacturing, transportation or placement.

IntegraPave’s light colored solar reflective pavement provides a cool alternative to black asphalt and its deleterious contributions to the Urban Heat Island Effect, smog formation, greenhouse gas emission and global warming. IntegraPave is ideally suited for any green building pavement requirements.

Recycled mixes are generally restricted to a maximum content of about 50%, more commonly from 10% to about 25% of "RAP" due to a decrease in pavement performance as the RAP content is increased. With EcoRAP, 100% RAP is utilized, while providing for increased modulus compared to that of traditional asphalt mixtures.

We believe only 100% organic solutions, like IntegraSoil, should be used to solve our world’s growing environmental issues.
